Fire resistant cable include ordinary and halogen free fire resistant cable. This cable has the following characteristics: Short circuit and open circuit failures are not to be expected in a certain period of time (not less than 1.5h) during direct flame burning, to secure continuous power supply of lighting and signals, to ensure sufficient time for evacuation. Due to low smoke halogen-free characteristics, as fire breaks out, with low smoke concentration and high visibility, the harmful gas is released at the least quantity to facilitate evacuation.Fewer cable combustion corrosive gases avoid the damage to the equipment and facilities. To meet the waterblocking requirements of rail transit,a radial waterblocking layer is put into the structure of cable.
This cable is mainly suitable for use in rail transit, stations,equipment installations, and also can be used in oil fields, power plants, chemical industry, hospitals, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, theaters and other high fireproof conditions,which is applied to AC rated voltage up to and including 0.6/1kv.
